Description[]
Black Guards are a medium difficulty enemy found in Black Mountain and surrounding locations. They have a chance to drop the epic sword The Black Blade.
Strategy[]
Black Guards are not very difficult. They deal bludgeoning/slashing damage(depending on what weapon they have equipped). They are primarily weak to piercing damage, but due to equipping Heavy Steel Shield, a piercing/bludgeoning combo such as Jungle Macuahuitl would be best.
Notes[]
- Black Guards have high block due to frequent use of heavy shields and plated armor.
- Their high Intelligence stat allows Black Guards to land critical attacks more often than most other monsters.
