The Shortbow is a weapon that is not usually very good. Early game, if you get a good roll, it can be one of the better piercing weapons you can get. It can do more damage than a reinforced club, however a reinforced club can do two types of damage and is a 1-handed weapon unlike the Shortbow. 2- handed weapons are not very good early in the game. This weapon is inferior to most other bows and piercing weapons which makes it ok if you can get it early on, but you will have better luck looking for other weapons.
